I met Janna at the mall so both sets of twins could visit Santa. My twins needed a lot of bribing to sit in front of Santa (I had to promise to buy them both gum right away after the picture) plus Santa had to give them a candy cane to hold during the photo but we finally got it! Santa was very sweet and trying to ask my kids what they wanted for Christmas, neither Avery or Brody would answer him, they just kept asking about the gum. While we were waiting in line I was holding 2 month old Oliver and Brody and then had Avery asking me to hold her, I noticed the lady in front of me giving me a funny look. I commented that I don't know how people do it with triplets and she responded, "You bring more people!" She was there helping with triplets that were in line in front of us :)
Riley is doing so well with his reading, he has come so far from the first day of school, I am so impressed with his fluency and excitement to read. Each night we try to have him read to the twins and then Dan and I split up and he continues to read to one of us. It's so amazing to me to see the changes in him. He is so observant right now and asking questions that really make me think before I answer. He attends religion class at St. Joe's every Monday evening and last night while laying in bed he was asking me questions about God and Jesus -after I answered to the best of my ability he asked, "When is it going to be Monday again?" I answered "in one week, why?" He replied, "Because I want it to be religion class again" I said is it because you want your teachers to answer your questions. He said, "Yes, they are better at it". I'm thinking I should sit in class with Riley.
This is a picture of Brody playing while everyone else is reading. This is a typical bedtime, where Brody plays to the last possible moment. The other night he was holding his mouth open and pointing inside, I asked what he was doing and he told me that he had hiccups in there, could I see them? Also when we were at the mall the other day Janna and decided to stop for coffee and as we were rounding up my twins to get in line, Janna told Brody we really need coffee, he dropped his shoulders and said in his "tired" voice "we need coffee". He cracks me up!

On Friday we went to Andy and Jess's for the annual Santa party! The kids were terrified of Santa and only the oldest of them would go up there to sit on his lap and receive their gift, Avery and Brody panicked when we tried to get them up there so we didn't push it but we did manage to get this family photo in front of Santa and his helper (Andy's step dad and coworker). Riley was trying to think of ways to make others laugh and decided to bring a little notebook and when Santa called his name Riley ran up there and asked for his autograph, it was very cute!
