We went over to Andy and Jess's on short notice Friday. The kids really wanted to skate on Thomas's ice rink in his back yard. Andy did a great job making a perfect size rink for kids. Riley wasn't sure if he would remember how to skate but once he got on the ice he did great!
He moved so fast I didn't get a good picture of him skating, he stayed on the ice for 2 hours!
Avery put on the skates first and immediately started walking around the ice rink, she did awesome! After a fall on her bum she got a little nervous and wanted Dan to hold her hand but she kept skating.
We only have one pair of small ice skates so Brody patiently waited for his turn, once those skates were on he took off! He walked around the ice with his little hockey stick and puck like he had done it 100 times. Every time he hit the puck he fell down and then he would yell to Dan or the boys to help him up, it was very cute.
Since Friday he's asked to go skating just about every hour or so! Hope Dalton saves his hockey stuff for us! :)
